All India convention of contact workers held on 19.11.2007.
---> Declaration of the convention:
State level and industry-level joint convention on the issue of contact workers.
Observance of All India demands day for the contract workers on 8th January 2008 to be observed through demonstration/dharna rallies in all workplaces/establishments and submission of joint memorandum to respective principal employers.
Prepare for countrywide united strike action.
